After infertility struggles almost derailed her family plans, Good Bones’ Mina Starsiak Hawk gave birth to her second child—a daughter named Charlie.
The budding family of Good Bones star Mina Starsiak Hawk is growing as fast as Mina and Karen E. Laine’s home renovation business. Fans enjoy watching the HGTV show starring Mina and her mom Karen, and often ask ‘did Mina have her baby?’ In September 2020, Mina’s husband, Stephen Hawk, announced Mina gave birth to Charlotte “Charlie” Drew Hawk. But what else is known about this newly hatched bundle of baby joy?
Charlie, who was freed from the womb by caesarian section at 10:14 am on September 16, was born at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Good Bones star Mina’s family has now grown, and at 7 pounds, 6 ounces, and 18.5 inches long, Charlie joined her sibling, Jack Richard, who is two years older. Her arrival on the scene was seemingly right on cue. Two days after her birth, her mom and grandmother’s network, HGTV, registered impressive ratings for their series. During season five of Good Bones, the show experienced its highest-ever ratings for its 25 to 54-year-old demographic.
Good Bones fans eagerly awaited news of Mina Starsiak Hawk’s second baby, as it’s been fun and inspiring to follow along with Mina and Karen’s beautiful home renovations in their hometown of Indianapolis. Mina has let fans know about the struggles she has faced, and now that baby Charlotte Drew is a year old, it’s sweet to see photos of her and learn about her journey.
